A psychological thriller is a story about a psychopath who kills film critics one by one following a similar pattern which makes it a psychopath or serial killer. 

The Investigation is led by Arvind Mathur (Sunny Deol) who is an inspector whereas on the other hand, there is an ongoing protest from the industry regarding the safety of the film critics. The investigation does not go well, hence Arvind Mathur joins working with Pooja Bhatt (Zenobia) who understands the psychology of the psychopath. 

There is a love track too between Nila (Shreya Dhanvantari) and Danny (Dulquer Salman).

The latest update about  Chup is that zee5 recently bagged its OTT rights with a hefty amount. R. Balki has made its way by showcasing Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Deol in Lead roles. Balki’s last release was Padman where Akshay Kumar was in the poignant role and the movie did well at the box office giving a social message. 

The official OTT release date of Chup is not yet disclosed but the digital rights are with zee5. As the movie is performing well at the box office grabbing good reviews it is supposed to take a leap of at least six to eight weeks to release on the OTT medium.
