Drishyam 2: The Astonished Case Reopens Again with New Leads

Drishyam 2  one of the most successful franchises of Indian mainstream cinema was Drishyam which was released back in 2015. It was a remake of a Malayalam movie of the same name. Made with a budget of 38 crores the movie managed to collect more than 100 crores at the box office and was a big hit. 

Coming Back to Drishyam to Update

The teaser curtains up following the same backdrop of 2015. The story of Drishyam 2 moves forward with the embedded story of Vijay Salgaonkar(Ajay Devgan). 

In the story of Sameer Deshmukh who was the only son of I.G Meera Deshmukh (Tabu), Sameer is being searched for three weeks and the family of Salgaonkar is under clear suspicion and has clearly evolved into a game of win or lose. 

The audience has already witnessed the fake scenario of the Goa Satsang which Vijay’s family has sowed down to hide the real truth of Sameer’s murder which was accidentally committed by his daughter. 

Drishyam 2 trailer gives a glimpse of the story which clearly shows that the case will again be reopened as the body of Sameer is still not found.

The teaser of serves as a little refresher to part one which follows the same inferences of the story but clearly has some relevant changes in the story pattern making it a good suspense thriller, where Vijay and his younger daughter are up to the end of confession.

Ajay Devgan and Tabu will be seen in the titular roles in the movie again and both of the actors have always been loved by the audience in these kinds of roles and have been showered immense love. Let’s see what new they have to offer to serve the best delicacy. 

The OTT platform and rights of Drishyam have still not been announced yet and there are no news and updates regarding it by the sources of makers yet. The movie is all set to release in the theatres on 18th November 2022. The OTT rights will be revealed soon after release considering it a hit franchise.
