It is a Sony Liv Hindi comedy-drama that is the story of a girl Maya Ahuja who lives in her own created world Of truth and lies. The web series is directed by Lakhon Mein Ek fame director Abhishek Sen Gupta, who was also an assistant director of Fukrey, No One Killed Jessica and Kahani. This Series is produced by Vikas Bahl and Anurag Shrivastava. 

Vikas Bahl himself is a well-known filmmaker especially when it comes to comedy drama. He can be a name taken when it comes to shaping Kangana Ranaut’s career when she was busy giving flops. His one of best movies, Queen(2013) had Kangana as the lead. Hence it makes it more exciting to see, whether the charm of Queen is continued in this one or not. 

A Mischievous Girl Story Good Bad Girl Web Series Plot, Review

The series comes with no pure takeaway focusing on the thrifting comedy projections. 

The web series revolves around a girl Maya, whose three life stages have been portrayed. Her childhood, teenage and professional life where she aspires to be a lawyer. Since childhood, only Maya had figured out that there is not everything for which one needs to be honest and there are always situations according to which you should choose what to lie and about which you should be honest. 

“ What is the need of being true which could destroy you, when a lie is moving around to set you free”

This is what her tagline is. The juggle between honesty and lies lands her into unwanted situations which reach a sense of being a criminal. The courtroom drama has also been portrayed very well and is fun to watch. The show has Samridhi Dewan as the lead, supported by Gul Panag, Vaibhav Raj Gupta(Seen in the Gullak series), Sheeba Chaddha, and Rajendra Sethi. The supporting cast has surely elevated the show to the next level. Samridhi Dewan looked at ease following a quirky role and has totally nailed it and all other actors are phenomenal in their own way. The web series has a superb star cast for sure. 

The 9 Episode web series has ended on a note that drops the hint of the second season already. The screenplay and dialogues were amazing but the character establishment has given so much time which wasn’t needed that much on a pure note as it has lengthened the series without need. 

Good Bad Girl, is fun to watch and stands up on the Genre perfectly to be proved a good weekend Binge.
