Ciara Princess Wilson is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, model, and entrepreneur. Ciara is her professional name.

 Ciara was born on October 25, 1985. She is the only child of Jackie and Carlton Clay Harris. She was an army brat and grew up in Georgia, New York, Utah, California, Arizona, and Nevada.

 Ciara and her family settled in Riverdale, Georgia, during their teenage. During her mid-teenage days, she formed a girl group.

But due to some differences, the group was separated. As a set-back, Ciara signed a publishing deal as a songwriter.

Ciara was signed by LaFace Records executive, L.A. Reid, after completing graduation from Riverdale High school in Riverdale Georgia in 2003. 

Ciara released her first album which is titled Goodies on September 28, 2004. The debut album ranked in 3rd position on the U.S. Billboard 200.

In 2006, Ciara released her second studio album which was titled Ciara: The Evolution. In the year 2006, she made her acting debut in MTV Film’s production All You've Got. 

Ciara became engaged with rapper Future in 2013. From him, she had a son who was born on May 19, 2014. But the relationship didn't go to marriage and ended in August 2014.

Ciara started dating NFL quarterback Russell Wilson in early 2015. In 2016 she married him on July 6.

 Recently, Ciara and her husband visited in the Everglades Correctional Institution in Miami, Florida, with the organization, God Behind bars, and there the couple sang together.
