Gracy wins awards for Lagaan Screen Awards for Most Promising Newcomer - Female IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year Female and Zee Cinema Award for Best Female debut.
Gracy was born on 20th July 1980 in Delhi. Her first acting role was in the 1997 television series Amanat.
Gracy played the lead role opposite Amir Khan in the 2001 movie Lagaan. She portrayed Amir Khan's love interest, Gauri.
Laagan was also nominated for Oscars in 2002 in the best foreign film category. The film was directed by Ashutosh Gowarika and it was set in the pre-independence period.
