Netflix’s new Web series Toothpari is a Hindi language romantic comedy series with a hinge of a thriller. It hails from the Endemol Shine productions and the story is by Pratim D. Gupta who is also the director of Toothpari. 

The story of the Web Series revolves around a human dentist(Shantanu Maheshwari) and a Vampire (Tanya Maniktala) who comes to get herself treated by him.

The Vampire is a Bengali and she falls in love with the dentist. The unlikely-to-happen love story just seeks its way to happen. But how will that be possible? How can a human love a vampire? Are there any rules laid out for that? Only Toothpari on Netflix can solve such riddles.

Four weeks back when Netflix dropped the first look of Toothpari which had Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala in a frame. The opening scene truly gave the essence of Kartik Aaryan’s Movie Freddy which was a Hotstar original film but as the teaser ended it gave goosebumps with a clear hint of something amazing is knocking at the door. 

Toothpari Web series review in a line would definitely go as a series full baked keeping in mind the detailing and execution. The plot setting of Kolkata is the true glory to watch as the minute details have been shown precisely.

The most favorite thing about the Web series Toothpari was that it did not even attempt to bring Hollywood to the table, it only served a desi touch with fun banters and that was absolute. The pun-intended dialogues and pickup lines are all well written and engraved as per scenes nothing looked stuffed. 

The entire story establishment is brilliant, carrying the subplots well. The setup of vampires shown is headed by a lady named Luna Luca(Revathi) which pumps up the viewer’s interest to know more about this whole Vampire organization.
