Shark Tank India Season 2: The Plot 

During Shark Tank India Season 2, entrepreneurs from all over India pitch to investors to get a good deal from the judges (Sharks). The judges are the entrepreneurs of popular established companies in India like Boat, Sugar, Shaadi.com, Mama Earth, and Lenskart.

In the first season, there were a total of 118 companies participating, and from that 67 companies got investment from the Sharks.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Review of Season 1

It is a unique concept in which individuals from different parts of India come and describe their inspiring journeys who aspires to become an entrepreneur. 

Sharks mean they are the CEOs of well-known and established companies, such as Lenskart, Emcure, Mama Earth, Bharat Pe, and Shaadi.com. In season 2 CEO of Cardekho will be joining as a judge in place of Ashneer Grover who was part of the panel. 

Participants come from all over India and are capable and smart enough to think and pitch their ideas but due to the financial instability and lack of guidance, they are not able to support. 

Shark Tank India Season 2: Season 2 Release Date, Sony Liv

On earlier 4th December 2022 Sony Liv dropped a promo of Shark Tank India Season 2. It will be a new OTT release and the release date is 2nd January 2023 and will premiere on Sony Liv.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Judges 

Aman Gupta is the founder and CMO of Boat, Anupam Mittal is the founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, Namita Thapar is an executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Vineeta Singh is the co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, and Peyush Bansal is a founder and CEO of Lenskart.com. A new judge was added.

The new judge is Amit Jain CEO and Co-founder- of Car Dekho Group, Insurance Dekho.com. Amit Jain replaces Ashneer Grover who was the ex-founder of Bharat Pay.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Ashneer Grover Replaces Amit Jain

Amit Jain, the owner of Car Dekho.com replaces Ashneer Grover as the new judge on Shark Tank India Season 2. In the previous season, Ashneer Grover was part of the show and his harsh punch lines were a great limelight for the show. 

People have given a mixed reaction to the first promo of season 2, especially on Ashneer Grover’s replacement.
