sharing a heart-touching note, Karan announced his return to directorship again through his Instagram post. Later to that he posted a story and told that the film is ready to entertain every age audience and the dazzling star cast is gonna amaze the audience with their new avatar. 

This film will be a family drama romantic film, written by Ishita Moitra, and Shashank Khaitan, it is produced by Dharma productions. 

Karan Johar is returning to the director’s chair after seven years. He directed the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016 which had Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma in the Lead after that took a break from directing but meanwhile produced eminent movies like Jug Jug Jeeyo, Gunjan Saxena, Liger, and Brahmastra. 

The filming is wrapped for the movie but as per reports one song of the film is still pending considering Alia’s pregnancy. Earlier the movie was supposed to release on 10 February 2023 but because of the delay in the final wrap, it has now been shifted two more months ahead and will now be released on 28 April 2023.
