Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Life-Based Movie Sher Shivraj On Prime Video
A story of Great Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj where he defeated Afzal Khan with his brilliant effort and courage. The film very strongly built the image of history on screen and takes us to the time when Shivaji Maharaj had got a strong and stiff hold On The Maval, the region of Maval fell under the Adil Shahi Sultanate therefore the people out there who had their dominance and wanted to stop him.

The Great Maratha history is glorified in itself and watching it on screen gives an immense thrill and pleasure.
The acting part of the movie was very good. The performance of Chinmay as Shivaji Maharaj was outstanding. Mukesh Rishi too was phenomenal in the role of Afzal Khan. All other supporting actors went deep into the skin of the character and portrayed the event which took place years back as a vivid reality in front of the audience. The movie is also considered one of the best in the Ashtak series creation and it is the perfect example of exactly what the real historical movie looks like.
The film has very minutely and in detail covered and shown the inside of the mind games played between the fighter or the kings in those times. Director Digpal Lanjekar has done a flawless direction for sure and has written the story brilliantly in a perfectly synchronized way so it will be easy for the audience to understand what is going on.
Creating historical movies is a tough competition as it has to connect the thread with each other and showcase in a linear pattern and Sher Shivraj is a movie that has done it. It has also excellently glorified the great heart of King Shivaji. The director was excellent in his work which was clearly reflected on the screen.

The screenplay and the cinematography were brilliant too. The production value was clearly visible to be a bit degraded but can be ignored considering it a low-budget movie made. kudos to the entire team of Sher Shivraj.
