On the whole, this film is full of mass masala and family entertainment.

If you are a fan of action, drama, and crime, Aarattu will prove to be a good entertainment package. The screenplay of the movie is quite average. You will get to see action and The Pinch Of Comedy in the first and second half.

The movie(Aarattu) clearly is somewhat expanded without need and seems quite boring in some parts and the dialogues appear over the top and not presented as something real or practical. Coming to the action part Mohanlal is a great actor and has again proved his charm. All the supporting cast is also good based on acting performance.

The actors are the soul of the movie as the plot really is weak and boring at times which makes the movie feel heavy. The production value is an additional package for this movie and something worth appreciating.
