As per the sources, Salaar story is based on the plot of the Kannada film Ugramm which is also by the director Prashanth Neel. Ugramm was one of the most excellent films made, massively composed of good melody and a masterpiece story it’s currently available on Zee 5 to watch. 

The plot of Salaar is about a gang leader who promises one of the dying members of his clan to take revenge on the other group who are responsible for all the happenings. Prabhas as Salaar will be the powerful leader of this gang. 

The announcement of Prabhas new movie was already made in December 2020 but due to some post-production activities, it almost took 3 years to be delivered. 

Homable films have already given beasts like Kantara and KGF. Hence Salaar too is going to be huge undoubtedly. The makers have already released a minute teaser of the film but the Salaar trailer will be dropped in the second week of September, right before the start of bookings.
