Pippa Movie OTT Release Date, Story, Cast

Coming from the makers of URI and Rang de Basanti and from the director of Airlift, Pippa movie comes as a refreshment of a war film that emulsifies a story of India’s deadliest war. The war was not fought against Pakistan but it was fought in the favor of 60 million people of East Pakistan in order to liberate them. 

Produced by Ronnie Screenwala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor it is directed by Radha Krishna Menon and is dropping on November 10 on Prime Video. 

Ishan Khattar will be seen playing the role of Balram Singh Mehta who was a brigadier during the Indo-Pakistan war. This lesser-known story will emerge as a tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the battle. 

Battle of Garibpur- one of the most prominent battles that was fought between Pakistan and India in order to capture a village called Garibpur which now falls in Bangladesh. When the Indian troops from Pakistan regiments attacked a village in Pakistan called Garibpur, they retaliated the very next day counter-attacking the Indian troops to recapture the village Garibpur and conceal it with them. This battle started just before the official battle between India and Pakistan and the Indian troops were successful in capturing the village called Garibpur but it now falls in the country Bangladesh.

The Pippa trailer has already been dropped and audiences are appreciating Khattar for his role. Pippa movie is based on India and Pakistan rift that emerged in the year 1971. The battle of garibpur that led to India and Pakistan war is being captured in the perfect scenario in Ishan Khattar film. Pippa sticks to its point organically and has no addition of unnecessary drama. There is no added propaganda run by the makers and the conflict of East and West Pakistan is clearly been projected out. The scenario that lead to all of this, which was into functioning at that time is very promptly being presented. 

Ishan Khattar leads the movie and he has done his job brilliantly, Soni rajdan and Monal Thakur also seasoned the film quite well. AR Rahman has given the music to the film which leaves the impact. The cinematography of the film is above the mark keeping above a nice frame. The colour grading and locations along with VFX looked so realistic. The screenplay could have surely been improved but does that does not made a negative impact anyhow. Overall this film get some Thumbs Up and is a one time watch.
