The story revolves around two friends Major (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Gullu (Ishaan Khattar) who have been die-hard horror fans since their childhood. While they wanted to develop a career related to that, they were unsuccessful when they tried some ideas related to the same.

they are given one last chance to either pay 5 crores rupees or make the changes they suggested. One day they held a horror party that ghosts attended, not humans, which also failed. They met in an accident before joining the party, which gave them the ability to see ghosts.

When a woman named Ragni (Katrina Kaif) tells them that she is a ghost though at first instance they did not believe her, she made them believe her when she possessed Major. They declined Ragni’s business idea, which incorporated a ghost catcher or ghost buster.

But they steal the idea and start their own business as Ragni calls from the house where a real ghost possessed a little girl and she also joins them. After some time, when the business was doing well, they asked her what she would get. She told them about Aatmaram (Jackie Shroff) who is an evil occultist.

Several spirits were imprisoned by him and he was also a contract killer, who wanted to live forever with his two assistants. Only you (Gullu and Major) can defeat him.

Your mind is filled with many questions – why does Ragni want to kill Aatmaram? How did Ragni die? Will Gullu and Major defeat Aatmaram? Watch the new movie of 2022 on Prime Video on Rent to get to the truth.

Phone Bhoot on prime: The Review:

Phone Bhoot on Prime Video with a Trap: 2022 Intresting Horror Comedy

The screenplay of the film is quite enjoyable, and the cinematography of the film itself is also quite effective. The performances of actors like Katrina Kaif and Ragni are amazing. She lived the character. Ishaan Khattar as Gullu also played a great job and was impactful.

Siddhant Chaturvedi as Major has lived the character. His comic timing is impeccable. Jackie Shroff as Aatmaram is flawless as always. The supporting actor Sheeba Chaddha as Chinki Chudail did an excellent job; as Major’s father, Manu Rishi Chadha has done well in limited screen time; his work was meaningful, and another supporting cast also did well.

The story of the film is quite interesting and unique. This proves that it’s an original work, a take on the popular movie Ghostbusters, which is a good and satisfying answer for those who are claiming that it’s remaking.

The songs are composed and choreographed well like Kinna Sona. In both drama and comedy scenes, the background music is well-done and engaging. The film is a spoof in which there are many references to pop culture that are likely to bring back memories for horror movie fans.

The overall verdict is that a binge-watch movie if you like a horror comedy movie like this which is now available on Amazon Prime Video on Rent which means soon this movie will also be available on Amazon Prime Video for subscribers.
