Mission Raniganj Movie- Cast, Story, OTT Release Date

Mission Raniganj movie is all set to hit the theatres on 6 October. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai the film cast will have Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar as lead. Written by Vipul K Rawat, it is based on the Raniganj coalfields collapse of West Bengal that happened in 1989.

Mission Raniganj Story, Budget, Release Date

Akshay Kumar’s new film is inspired by the incident that happened in West Bengal in 1989. During that incident just one single man who was a courageous man saved many lives and his character is played by Akshay Kumar in the film. 

The incident occurred at Raniganj Coal mine which is located in the sub-division of Asansol and Durgapur. This coal mine had been in operation since the British era. In 1989 when the workers made a blast to break coal walls the area adjacent to it suffered a crack which gave way to water flooding. The water level rises very quickly and people below get trapped inside. This incident took many lives and the people who became a spectator still get driven by this whole happening. Mission Ranigunj: The great Bharat rescue is based on the same incident. 

Mission Ranigunj budget is 70 crore and the release date is 6 October 2023. There is no update for the OTT rights of the film yet.

Finally, the portal of Mission Raniganj advance booking has been opened but most expectedly Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar starrer films are not going to have a good opening at the box office.
