Telugu Movie Major Story, Star Cast, And Review
Do you have an answer to the question, “What is a soldier”? It’s not that simple. To be honest, it’s quite difficult just to write it in words. Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the protagonist, has faced the same problem since joining the Indian army. On 26/11, while battling terrorists in Mumbai, he asked himself this question.

You are wrong if you think that the movie is about the 26/11 attack and how those soldiers were martyrs. This movie is about a mother who is constantly praying for his son to return from a battle safely. For her, each and every minute seems like years.
This film is a tribute to a wife who feels lonely and treacherous as his husband is on the way to fighting with devils. This movie is for those whose sacrifices are rarely acknowledged while they’re most frequently the ones left mourning.
Sandeep Unnikrishnan Movie Major Review
Sandeep Unnikrishnan had instincts entrenched in his DNA. He is fearless when saving someone’s life, even though his own life comes into danger. When he used to be a small kid, he was always captivated and mesmerized by the uniform of an army officer.
During his adolescence age, he always wanted to serve his nation, and that’s what he did. But here, the question is, “What is a soldier .”Does it mean placing oneself first on the battleground or going to the extremes of being a sacrificial lamb with no self-preservation? Does it mean considering your nation’s safety foremost before anything else?
The protagonist was going through all these questions, and boom! A tragedy happened. Sandeep, who’s an NSG major now, has to be on his duty!
You might be thinking that this movie would be all about the sacrifices made by a soldier. To be honest, when I started watching the movie, I was hoping for the same storyline. But there is a twist here. Director Sashi Kiran Tikka and screenplay artist Adivi Sesh focused on the life of Sandeep as a person and not Sandeep as a martyr.
Now that sounds interesting, isn’t it? We all know that 26/11 was a treacherous and dreadful event, but how Sandeep deals with it depends upon how he was brought up and how Sandeep as a person was. When something inevitable happens, you regret and mourn for a soldier’s life and how he could have lived if this didn’t happen.
This movie is a lot more than you can expect. It would be unjust to reveal some of the beautiful parts of this tale.
A capable technical team supports Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, who plays his childhood sweetheart Isha, and Shobitha Dhulipala, who portrays a businessman named Pramoda. Saiee receives a sympathetic character who doesn’t just exist for the sake of appearing but is completely evolved.
Given the situation she is placed in, Shobhitha’s portrayal of Pramoda is also as comprehensive as possible. Although the dialogue from Abburi Ravi and the music from Sricharan Pakala overtly exploit your feelings, they do so successfully for the most part. It’s actually one of their best pieces of work.
According to the scene being acted out, Vamsi Patchipulusu’s cinematography shifts from dreamlike to oppressive, and Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi makes some intelligent editing decisions that stand out in important parts.
But the movie has its problems as well. At several points, the dialogue and music by Sricharan and Abburi Ravi become too overbearing, leading you to feel a certain way before you would. Even while Sandeep and Isha’s love story becomes more compelling as the movie continues, their first meeting doesn’t have the anticipated impact.
26/11 Based Movie Major
Some tracks detailing Sandeep’s army comrades appear to be missing. There are a few more issues one may criticize, but given the non-linear structure of the story, you aren’t given much time to do so. But it is to be mentioned that the movie isn’t true and accurate, both in the way the happenings of 26/11 played out and how Sandeep supposedly dealt with it.
