Kho Gaye Hum Kahan Movie Review- Falls Completly Flat

After facing a great backlash for curating Archies Zoya Akhtar’s production house which is Tiger baby films is back once again but it’s a new project that is Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The movie comes with a very realistic approach that says if you pick up the social media handle of any person you will only see the highlight reel of the best moment of their life. Unfortunately, the film lags so much to justify the approach. The film seems very lost in itself. 

Talking about the two benchmark films of Bollywood based on friendship, Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara will take the first place for sure but Kho Gaye Ham Kahan falls as extremely opposite of both of these movies even after trying hard to touch the tail. Watching a film based on friendship always makes you feel included and that you are a part of the gang but this film certainly is not. The film portrays the love life of the character,  the social-economic understanding, and ways to earn livelihood form a major crux. This film talks about struggle but in a classy way that is not for a middle-class section to witness and comes extremely as ungullible. 

Siddhant Chaturvedi is that boy in the film who goes after girls on tinder and brings them home leaving an impression. The flat that Siddhanth owns is worth millions and is gifted to him by his mother. Ananya Panday on the other hand too lives in a designer apartment owned by Siddhanth having the privilege of being his friend.

Adarsh Gourav on the other hand is also part of the trio who wants to open a gym because of this Ananya Panday’s character has given up her high-paying job just to market the same. The character of Adarsh Gourav could be a little smarter as he is the only one who has some aspiration in his life and wants to be a proud owner of a gym but he seem to be more committed with his alcohol and that is where the story completely scatters. 

The movie completely comes as unrelatable. Talking about the actor’s performance Siddhanth Chaturvedi is pretty decent with his character and Adarsh Gourav has followed the script and characterization in a good way. Ananya Panday and acting doesn’t go hand in hand for sure. She is just a prop for the entire movie without leaving any impact.
