The story is written by Arpita Mukherjee and Rahul V Chittella. 

Gulmohar Cast includes many legendary actors. The performances of the actors such as Sharmila Tagore and Kusum Batra is complete magic, she thinks that she has done enough for her family and now wants to think for herself. She is flawless in her role. 

Manoj Bajpayee is notable as always as Arun he is shown as responsible and who never questioned his mother’s decision and that looked natural.

Suraj Sharma as Aditya was noticeable in the film wanting to live separately from his family with his wife.

The supporting cast performances were also great, especially Amol Palekar whose presence was enough in the film.

The direction of Rahul V Chittela’s work is visible in the film. This film is his first film as director which is a good effort by him.

There are some scenes that could melt your heart such as Arun’s truth, and Arun and Aditya’s relationship which is a perfect depiction of the father and son relationship whose relationship has gone disturbed.

Not only Manoj and Suraj bonding as father and son also focuses on the bonding of Sharmila and Manoj’s chemistry as mother and son which was the most mesmerizing.

The background music of the film will bring comfort to the ears.
