Season 1 introduces us to Veronica, a female police clerk who is underestimated because she is a woman in a male-dominated field. Veronica witnesses a suicide that would transform her life one seemingly unremarkable day at Sao Paulo’s sloppiest police station. Good Morning Veronica season 1 finished in a totally different light. We see her transition from a straight cop to a full-fledged killer intent on bringing justice to her hands.

Good Morning Veronica Season 2 plot information is scant, but we can expect Veronica to embark on more perilous adventures. The shadows will be her new ally now that everyone believes she is dead. She is now on her road to bigger fights.

Good Morning Veronica Season 2 – The Review

Good morning Veronica, also known as Bom Dia, Verônica in Brazil, is a gritty and hard-hitting crime program that doesn’t hold any punches. Be warned: some scenes require a strong stomach, but if you get through that, you’re in for a treat.

There’s a lot to unpack in eight episodes, so let’s get started. Veronica Torres (Tainá Müller) is a Sao Paulo police officer. She works in the Homicide division as a clerk because she is not a detective. However, when a young rape victim commits suicide in front of her, she resolves to seek justice for the woman. She discovers a scam in which the offender meets women on an app, goes on a date with them, and then drugs, rapes, and robs them. The difficulty is that just one other woman comes forward, making it harder to trace him.

Good Morning Veronica Season 2 broadcasts an appeal on television, attracting the attention of a housewife named Janete, She (Camila Morgado) is the story’s other half. She is married to and lives with Claudio Brandao, a vicious, neurotic, and manipulative man. He has emotionally and psychologically tormented Janete for many years, to the point where she is afraid and nearly shattered. Unfortunately for the spectator, we already know how horrible the situation is (strong stomach necessary), so when Janet reaches out to Veronica, there is some hope that she can be spared.

Veronica now has two cases to investigate: the serial rapist and Claudio Brandao. The issue is that no one else in the department seemed to be concerned about either. Worse, it appears that some detectives are intentionally working against her. And here we have another subplot. Why aren’t they interested? And who can she really rely on to help her when events unfold and her own life is threatened?

Is Good Morning Veronica On Netflix Worth Your Time- Conclusion

Good Morning Veronica Season 2

Good Morning Veronica Season 2 is a work of genius. The material is dark and often violent, making binge-watching difficult. However, the intertwining subplots are so compelling that you will be captivated till the finish. Its depiction of spousal abuse is so accurate that it’s less about violence and more about the insidious terror that pours off the screen and sends shivers down your spine.

The characters, performers, writing, storylines, and subplots are all spot-on and completely convincing. Its authenticity and intensity, which are sadly absent in American crime/detective series, will appeal to fans of the criminal genre. You’re in for a treat if you watch Good Morning Veronica with subtitles rather than dubbing.

“Happy watching”
