Duniyadari(दुनियादारी) Sony Liv Comedy Movie is about Shreyas, a young man who has a bitter relationship with his parents. He fills the void in his life with loyal friends from his college however struggling to fix his love life by trying to court Shirin. Marathi Movie Duniyadari Storyline and Plot

The story takes place in 1970s Mumbai where Swapnil Joshi (Shreyash) is living his dull life with his struggling with his parents’ bothersome relationship and his below-average academic performance. He gets an opportunity to go to Pune’s SP college for his higher studies but little did he know that his life will take a massive turn there. Shreyash becomes a part of the ‘Katta gang’ (katta:-bench). It consisted of DSP (Ankush Choudhary) Surekha (Richa Pariyalli) and other students. Later Shirin (Sai Tamhankar) and Pritam (Sushant Shelar) join the group as well. The rest of the story is about love and friendship and how the Katta gang deals with a violent spoiled wretch Sainath (Jitendra Joshi).

Review Of Sony Liv Comedy Movie Duniyadari (दुनियादारी)

This movie is based on the best-selling novel Book ‘Duniyadari‘ written by the Late Suhas Shirwalkar.

The first half of the Duniyadari movie is filled with entertainment. The audience gets to witness many amusing moments one after the other as Shreyash enters the SP College. Chinmay Mandlekar’s writing takes care of the definition of various characters and unfolds many events, especially the subtle yet very powerful love triangle. Due to the fast pace and humor, the audience fails to notice that the main story barely moves forward in the first half.

The energy stays intact in the initial portion of the second half of the movie but after a certain point of time, the grip becomes somewhat weak due to a few melodramatic events. Apart from the love triangle, there is Digya’s love story too. The second half of the movie shows how these youngsters manage to pave their way through the difficulties. It is joined by a very interesting climax scene.

About Excitement Climex of Duniyadari Movie 

Even though the climax of the movie doesn’t entirely go with its genre of it, it is one of the most memorable moments in a long time because of the emotional impact it produces.  Each of the actors performed very well in this film. Swapnil Joshi gets indulged in his character as Shreyash and presents a charming act in front of the audience. Ankush Choudhary (DSP) is amazing as an impetuous and brave person.

Sai Tamhankar presents a trustworthy act in front of the audience yet again and Jitendra Joshi is successful at performing a threatening character in the film. Urmilla Kanitkar’s performance was very adorable and mature, Richa Pariyalli presented a decent performance in front of the audience. The other actors successfully present mature and well-performed characters.  The movie gave them ample scope to portray their characters and they have done great justice to it.  The music and the cinematography of this film are amazing too. Pankaj, Samit Saptiskar, and Amit Raj’s music goes perfectly with this movie.

Conclusion 

Overall director Sanjay Jadhav has managed to pull off this film with ease and skill. The emotions like confusion, tragedy, sacrifice, and love are portrayed very well in this movie and it keeps the viewers indulged in it most of the time. The plot of the movie however could’ve been more tightened if there were fewer twists. The movie delivers a strong message about friendship and love and gives us a new perspective to look at our life. It teaches us how to maintain a selfless friendship because they are a very important part of your life.

A true friend stands by your side every time you’re having a bad day and teaches you how to truly live your life. This film also teaches us about love. It tells you that in this world there is love and teaches you to never let yourself down in love.  Overall, Duniyadari is a great film. The director truly did a commendable job by making such a good movie. The characters performed well making it more organic.

The 2 hrs. 22-minute movie Duniyadari will not disappoint the viewers in any aspect. Duniyadari might have a chance to enter the most streamed movies on the ott platform SonyLIV.
