Storyline and Plot: A Journey of Resilience

The 12th fail movie story is about Manoj Sharma (Vikrant Massey) who lives in the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh with his father (Harish Khanna) and mother ( Geeta Agarwal), brother (Rahul Kumar), Sister and Dadi (Sarita Joshi). His father is a very honest man but when it comes to Manoj Sharma,  he is one who cheats in the exam and gets into another class and this has become quite a usual pattern every year. 

The school in which he studies encourages copying but one time he gets caught by a police officer Dushyant Singh (Priyanshu chatterjee). The police officer says to Manoj that in the future if he wants to be a police officer like him then he clearly has to give up on cheating. From this point of time There comes a drastic change in the life of Manoj Sharma promising himself that he wants to be a police officer now and make some attempt to UPSC. 

It’s quite tough to pass the UPSC examination and be an IPS officer but Manoj is not one such being who leaves things midway without achieving the goal. In this journey, he gets in touch with many of his friends like Shraddha, Gauri and Pritam. 

The film is based on the novel of the same name, Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the director, writer, and producer of the film. As a writer he has written a brilliant screenplay that keeps you glued to the screen and leaves a deep Impact even after the ending. The audience gets involved and engages well, the film is full of light moments that bring smiles throughout.
