Born on February 21, 1996, in Northampton, England, Sophie Belinda Turner is a well-known actress, best recognized for her role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones.  

At 2, Sophie Turner relocated to Chesterton, Warwickshire. She went to Warwick Prep School until 11, then The King's High School for Girls. 

In 2013, Turner got her first movie role as the lead in the thriller Another Me. She also starred as Adeline March in the TV movie The Thirteenth Tale. 

In 2014, Turner narrated an audiobook and modeled for Karen Millen's campaign. She later played Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse, which received mixed reviews. 

In 2016, Turner started dating singer Joe Jonas. They got engaged in October 2017 and got married in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019.
