The upcoming movie Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 movie Gadar Ek Prem Katha whose release date was revealed on 26 January 2023.

The movie features Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. In part 2 the trio is continued.

 Utkarsh Sharma who played child Charanjeet nicknamed Jeete. In the sequel movie he will again reprise his role.

The story of the Gadar 2 will continue after Sakeena (Amisha Patel) and Tara ( Sunny Deol) return in their home.

 In the movie, Gadar (2001)  Amrish Puri was the villain as Ashraf Ali, Sakeena's father. We don't know who will antagonist in part 2.

Along with the original star cast of Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, there is some new cast like Simrat Kaur, Manish Wadhwa, Mir Sarwar, and Gaurav Chopra.

Amisha Patel will see on the big screen after a long time. She will reprise as Sakeena.

Gadar 2 is the next movie of Sunny Deol after Chup. He will reprise Tara Singh in Gadar 2.
